both Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and Sensational Spider-Man are ending and will then become Amazing Spider-Man titles so the story can open and really dive into character direction and depth. side plots can now be shown and wont hurt the main plot as its now just 1 plot. this becomes great so character growth wont be damaged with late or delayed titles with other books since it will be a tri-monthly. we shall see how long it will last... it proved very successful with '52' over at DC which shipped weekly and didnt skip a order. gave super character growth to ones we havent seen in a long time or were never street level visually and now given the chance...exciting if you like it.

I think having 3 a month is kind of insane of the same title...
But it does save on some random storylines that are not as interesting as Amazing usually is.
I remember Web of Spiderman, Amazing and Spectacular Spiderman during the Clone Saga ... I still have all of those.
But to be honest, the same story telling and drawing in storylines will bring some consistency at least.

its funny how you describe that, the powers that be have stated the same thing when it comes to readers and that the readers will always lean towards the Amazing title as the main book while the others are just filler for the main cannon arc, so why not merge it all in one and stop playing a game and tell the best story!! word!!!!!!! haha!!

after the civilwar...Electra was killed by Ronin only to be shown she was a Skrull which now makes the 'question' who can you trust?? Hulk landed in NYC and threatens earth to either turn over Ironman, MrFantastic, Charles Xavier and Doctor Strange to him or be destroyed...
Captain America was killed, Thor is back, Spider-Man is getting a D I V O R C E...and wearing the BLACK costume doesnt mind if he kills or puts you in the hospital anymore, morals are gone...NICE!

All this Skrull talk had me look again at the first issue of The Illuminati. Maybe one (or more) of their ranks came back as a Skrull without anyone ever knowing it. Infiltrating any group they belong / belonged to since the Kree-Skrull War could be devistating. Think of all the relationships and allegiances that could be turned upside down by any 1 of them being a Skrull for the past few (Marvel) years.
I for one, think Bendis is awesome for even trying this. I'm looking forward to how it all plays out.
