i been saying that from day 1!!! and i love spidey!!
tobey was never correct for the part and i always wished that it was either jake gyllenthal or the drug dealer from american beauty who sold weed to kevin spacey, whom both at the time tried out for the role, but took other films instead...
i never liked mary-jane in the books or the movies, i feel that she takes away from what could be a great book with spidey going thru so many hardships and villians!!! i want to see more pages of venom than seeing mary jane break up with peter because he is beingg spidey and swingingthe city with felica harding aka the black cat...
i like wolverine too, if you read the new avengers both spidey and wolverine and lucke cage all talk when they fight and make jokes, its really nice to see as they fight ninjas in japan!!!

lucke=luke cage

Mary Jane is one of the worst characters in the films, and the whole storyline involving her and Peter ruined a lot of the 3rd film.
- agreed. She made the movie into a chick flick. sorry for the adjective usage.geralddean

in the upcomming 'ONE MORE DAY' storyline which will rip spider-man universe to shreds, he is s'possd to loose all his loved ones [mj and aunt may] all the spider-man books will be shifted to 1 title and will ship 3 times a month leaving the 4th week for ultimate spiderman...
this will be a 4 issue tie-in!!
i hope they get rid of both of those characters forever, they dont do anything but give peter support and he needs less support and more hardships, its what makes his chartacter so understanding as everyone goes thru life and deals with hardships unlike spidey who goes thru it so much more, i love reading how he surpasses each one or sometimes doesnt...its all about greif and responsibility...but going forwrd it needs more darkness!!!
the covers featured in the one more day storyline feature spidey in his red and blues not the black as shown in the back in black sstoryline which is supposed to run for a few years...

I look forward to the "One More Day" storyline ... and I really do like Spidey in the black suit more than the red one, heh.
World War Hulk is fucking awesome by the way - I normally don't catch Ghost Rider because I really don't like the character at all but the last issue of that was pretty bad ass in the ending.

I was only in town for one nite basically as I went to that Rock The Bells concert on Sunday (http://www.rockthebells.net).
It was pretty dope. Missed my flight in the morning, so I did not show up until about 5PM flipped the trains to Madison Square Garden (which is by where I was staying) and then just tore up the town for about 13 straight hours, haha.
Got some quick sleep then flipped to Harlem to get to the concert and then rocked out all nite again.
Then since I did not have a flight back (due to my original itinerary being completely cancelled when I missed... :X ), had to get to Brooklyn to meet up with some friends who were driving.
...
It was fun getting around everywhere, and wasn't that hard at all actually.
To be honest, I thought the city was going to be bigger but then again I really had no idea what to expect, haha.
I didn't go to too many shops as I was too busy hitting up bars and meeting up with people (that I knew, and that I didn't, haha).
It was a fun time, I will definitely let you know when I go up for like an extended period of time - or a time that isn't blotched up with a day long concert, haha.

ShockTillYouDrop.com talked to Brian Taylor at the San Diego Comic-Con last weekend about his upcoming adaptation of DC Comics' Western anti-hero comic book Jonah Hex at Warner Bros. He'll write and direct with Mark Neveldine, with whom he brought Crank to the big screen.
