also, for shits n giggles i picked up two issues of iron man and the last two issues of wolverine. iron man was a surprisingly good read. he's dealing with some major inner deamons.
wolvie cause he supposedly dies. it was a super good read. really fuckn dark.

im still waiting for them to split up in One More Day.
im waiting for aunt may to die so spidey can kill the kingpin.
i started picking up the ultimate ironman but it stopped in the middle...kinda like im still waiting for the 3rd ish of ultimate wolverine vs ultimate hulk...its been more than 1-2 years and itts still not done. although marvel says they havent forgotten and plans to release the remaining books after WWH ends. but it may never happen.

I thought those Ultimate books have nothing to do with the current timeline rite?
- k0na_an0k0
epill might be 100% sure, but i do not think the ultimate world abides to the other timeline.
as in ultimate spiderman 113 captain america is still alive.
two seperate worlds. but again, i might be wrong.

(Sep 19 07, 10:26)Whoa! That is badass!
A guy that I work with every now and then had this in his office the last time I was there. My heart stopped. It is too beautiful for words:

I have to say, this is my favorite thread at Newstoday. It always makes me smile when I see it in the top of the list.
Is anyone reading Captain America (Ed Brubaker's writing) lately. Top-Notch stuff.

That's a pretty bad ass Iron Man!
Cap has been good even since his passing, new issue comes out today!
Bucky is going to fuck Crossbones up!

I read the first two volumes of Stray Bullets the other day. Great stuff. Definitely worth a read.
As for Spiderman, I haven't picked up a Spidey book since the Clone Saga. Is the new stuff actually worth the paper it was printed on?
I have read the new Thor issues, which aren't too bad. Plot moves pretty slow, but definitely worth a read.
World War Hulk is meh. They seem to be hyping the Sentinel quite a bit, although I don't know why, seems like a cardboard character to me.

Yea, shortly after the Clone Saga I put down Spiderman for awhile.
I would say it is definitely worth picking back up, but I would be hesitant to just dive in right now without first going back a few months.
The Civil War/Initiative that takes place before these events are pretty big buildups to everything that is kind of crumbling around Petey rite now.
But don't let that stop you, he is kicking a lot of ass and is actually refusing to take names at this point so it's still pretty boss, haha.
Thor is going slow, but I really like it - and I am the same one about Sentinel.
He is like Marvel's answer to Superman it seems. :X
Which was never needed.
Considering Thor or Silver Surfer would pwn Superman.
- Rodimus790
Exactly. Never liked Superman much as a character. I read a lot more Batman as far as staple DC characters go.
