Firefox seems to be a piece of junk on my mac. Font problems being the main issue.... Also, it seems firebug doesn't work. Any solutions?
Thanks,

You have 2.0.0.3?

Safari has tabbed browsing... but I have to agree that the plugins makes firefox the most attractive option on any platform

"Firebug integrates with Firefox to put a wealth of development tools at your fingertips while you browse. You can edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript live in any web page..."
Sounds useful for any developer, anyway, when I had a mac... *cries*
Firefox worked fine. What is the font issue? Screengrab maybe?

Check out Camino to see what would Firefox look like rendered in Cocoa, just like Safari is. It lacks some of the FF features though.
I heard they're rewriting mac FF to use Cocoa environment.

camino doesn't support the plugins he wants either...

hahaha
"look at that crap"
I dont know man, what I would do, (and I do this anytime anything goes wrong) uninstall, repair permissions, re install repair permissions again, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.
if this really annoys you, it probably won't work, but good luck!

DL'd minefield and it seems to solve the problems... however.... It doesn't work with the newest version of WD Toolkit.
Thanks for the tip though.

I dont have the same font issues, but fonts in firefox do look like shit in firefox. Especially cyrillics.

Firefox in general with the appropriate set of extensions is the Swiss Army Knifes when it comes down to browsers. FF works perfectly fine on my mac. Also Safari has a huge memory leak.
