www.attackinteractive.com?
Rip or strong inspiration of www.superfamous.com?
- wendog0
80% rip, 20% inspiration
- studderine0
what? its just a side with frames. whatever. who cares. the work is what matters.
- VectorMasked0
99% rip, 01% perspiration

neither a rip... nor inspiration probably...
like someone said above... it's two frames... one has the links...the other displays...
... not exactly a 'new' method of delivery for displaying a folio on the web.
btw-how dare you waste my time by making me copy and paste your dumb non-ripped links!

I don't know what annoys me more... people who rip people's work or people who are ignorant enough to say "everything's been done, there is no rip".
come on now, it's fucking blatant.
if design is your PASSION and you find people cheating LIFE, you can have some goddamn emotion about it.
and I can see that people are so reserved here because they know they will get thrashed on by people. it's the newstoday pattern. that's why the thread starter is asking the question instead of giving his/her own opinion.
I love NT but damn, these threads...

hell its a rip.
he also ripped the Dutch Fire Department logo:
http://www.brandweer.nl/
vs
http://www.attackinteractive.com…he's stupid.
what he says about his own logo:
"Capturing the brand essence of an aggressive, emerging, savvy, and capable Internet related cultural representation."

nice find.
It's also worth mentioning that a lot of the work there has an amateurish feel. It's like average student work in a way. And...none of their web work is online. It's almost as if they had done one single page for each of those sites for display. Things like the font size on top menu (login, etc..) of the oakley site look a bit weird and amateurish. And a brand like oakley that cares so much about their image wouldn't really have something like that.

It's a Rip off !

Double rip!
- PonyBoy0
lolzzzzzzzz... ya'll should just get to work.
- spillargroove0
You should not be caring enough to post something like this, posting this is a waste of time. Tough luck if the person is copying someone else's work no matter how good the original designer is. We know who is better off.
the end.

You'll probably respond differently when it happens to you.

i smell cock in this thread
- neue75_bold0
* sigh
sure it's a rip, but who cares, happens everyday, visually and conceptually, we're not curing cancer here, step back and realise your own insignificance in caring so much for who stole whose image or layout style...
I'm glad I've moved into the ad world, so many designers are self-righteous egotists without a clue about what really matters...
- mimeartist0
so any argument, you're basically going to say 'hey, we're not curing cancer here'
I'm going to use that for the rest of the week and see how i get on ;)
ahem, and the ad world isn't full of self righteous egotists... hahahahah
- neue75_bold0
well ok, there's ego in both disciplines, but I'm not surrounded by it as prominently as I have during the past 8 years in design studios...
I'm just trying to say that we live and breath this shit a little too seriously. By far and large this [and a lot of other things we gripe about and battle] go unbeknownst to a majority of the world outside of design circles.. so where's the relevance or point to being so anal? Especially about someones lame portfolio on the internet...
- mimeartist0
Because if you don't care why should anyone else? You shouldn't even be in the industry if thats your take on things.
- Crouwel0
he thrives on ideas
- neue75_bold0
let's just sit here quietly for a moment and realise how naive that statement was...
