can you add this line of code to check if sessions are registered properly?
echo $_SESSION['username'];
I am guessing the session values are not being registered hence it takes you back to the login page.

back to the first file, which then checks if theres a logged in cokkie and shows somehting else instead of a login form

im trying to make a login thingy, i have a page with an if statement, ie if logged in display this stuff, else display login form, login script itself works and tells me im logged in if i am and not logged in if im not, but going back to the first page it always says not logged in

p: suppedu should see a "logged in message" than it takes u back, but instead of login form, theres supposed to be something else,
