Let me know what you think. Basic site for smaller company. It's one big .JPG right now (early stages) and the About Us button will take you to a inside page look and feel.
The client is very happy with it but I would appreciate any feedback from professionals such as yourself.
Thanks in advance.

Not a bad layout/grid.
I'd lose one of the 45 degree angled lines though. One set goes one way the other in the opposite direction. It's really throwing off my eye. If anything I'd keep it on the background and lose it in the main windows. Maybe use a graident instead, or, a darker gray for a bit more contrast.
I'd actually make the plane image larger and take up that whole space, instead of having a border like that.
You can also lighten the Address/Copyright line a bit. Use a medium gray. It's important but not that important. Give it a bit of space from the lower nav too.
Nice start.
The inside page seems a bit boring. Try incorporating a pic back in someplace to give some color to the page. Right now it's only red and black and there is nothing really popping out at me where to start on the page.

Thanks. The angle lines will go back to 2001.
They fly a plane over cable tv lines and detect leaks in them, broken lines from storms etc... They map the leak, report it to the cable company, and then the cable company fixes it. Pretty interesting set up they have.

lose the drop shadows, fix up the typography and lose the angles..and other than that it's spiffy.
And cables got leaks? And there is a company that can afford airplanes to fly over them to find them? Man, I am definitely in the wrong industry...

Awesome, thanks for the advice and critiques. I will be making changes and updating tonight.
and yes, per the FCC, cable lines cannot have leaks, if they have leaks your TV station comes in very weak. And Comcast, Charter, ATT, all the cable companies have to have this test atleast once and sometimes twice a year. I think they charge over $2 per mile, multiply that by a 100 square miles= $$$$$
Thanks again,
