yuo need to contact the Inland revenue or whatever its called now (her cuntyfaces customs and scamwagons), and declare yourself as a sole trader, unless you are actually employing staff or need to be registered as a Ltd company.

Yeah. YOU don't have to be a registered company to bill people.
Your a sole trader, a contractor, a freelancer.
You can register yourself as a Co. but look up the pro's and cons, i.e more paper work.

You can register as a LTD company but this adds a level of complexity to your admin. You have to do company returns etc.
You can just set up as a "sole trader" which means you don't need to anything or even tell anyone. You need to file your own tax return each year to the inland revenue.
It all depends what you want to achieve and how you may want to evolve. A ltd company gives you a little but more credibility (perhaps). It is a legal entity so possibly more trust worthy.
If you turnover in excess of £56K (not sure exactly the amount) you will need to register for VAT - ie charge VAT and claim back VAT from your purchases.
You cna trade as a sole trader and then become a ltd company later as you develop.

Thanks everyone! Basicly as a sole trader I could invoice straight away and just save some money for taxes next year?

forget the sole trader thing.
The best option is to find yourself and accountant and set up a business and run all your invoices through the company.
Its more effective from a tax persepctive, and after 4 years of freelance, dealing with the cunts at inland revenue first handm pay a professional to help run your affairs.
Companys you freelance for will either pay you as PAYE or through your company, so it makes no difference to your employabiliity.
Honestly, get a company set up. I can not tell you the no end of toruble I have had with inland revenue, nation insurance, etc.
