of all the la nt'ers who will be going to any of the three shows in pasadena starting tonight?
- RustyBadge0
I saw him in Sweden last year, I'd recommend the show.
He done a couple of Smiths tunes - that was awesome...
- de4k0
Don't rate Ringleader as much as The Quarry but as Rusty said he'll always bang out a few Smiths tunes, as well as all the mozz classics, The More You Ignore Me, Shoplifters etc
Saw him in Brighton last year, he started with How Soon Is Now, and went on to to The Boy With A Thorn, There Is A Light, Bigmouth Strikes Again.

It always surprises me that people like this self-righteous, plant eating, talentless loon.
Maybe I missed the point.

He once bought a butchers' entire stock of meat, and THREW IT AWAY.
I don't care what he wants to eat - but I can't abide waste.
- vespa0
yea waste is bad.
he has written some of the best lyrics of all time tho.

he pretty much dance likeed this
pre show entertainment came in the form of vintage video clips of the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest, a 60s French variety show, mid- 70s Dutch show Musik Laden featuring guest The New York Dolls, a silent 1954 wardrobe test from "East of Eden" with James Dean, old backstage Dolls footage and a female impersonator reciting "The 12 Days of Christmas." and what i think may have been either Billy Fury or Johnny Hallyday twisting... not really up on my vintage euro-rockers.
the back drop for the show was a huge photo of Pier Paolo Pasolini...
The set list went something like this...
How Soon Is Now?/ The Youngest Was The Most Loved / You Have Killed Me / Disappointed / Ganglord /Panic/I've Changed My Plea/ William, It Was Really Nothing / Irish Blood, English Heart / I Will See You In Far-off Places / Girlfriend In A Coma / Everyday Is Like Sunday / In The Future When All's Well / I've Changed My Plea To Guilty / Let Me Kiss You / The National Front Disco / Dear God, Please Help Me / I Just Want To See The Boy Happy / Life Is A Pigsty/ Don't Make Fun Of Daddy's Voice/Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Wantencore
First Of The Gang To DieI may have misplaced Panic after three screwdrivers and rum and coke don't expect me to nail down the set list with 100% accuracy.
I counted five shirt tosses and towards the end of the show an audience member slipped him a Manchester United scarf and on today's super bowl he's putting his money on "The Denver Omelletes"

"...there's a light that never goes out..."
he's simply the best.
Modest Mouse played here (Tasmania, AUS) on NYE, wanted to see them for Johnny Marr.
