doesn't work :(
I think perhaps the name is just too long for that sort of logo, and the last letter is quite wrong... sorry for my negative comments. Work on an abbreviation I think this will work out way better.

i'd start again

Jeez-oh, you've got an entirely vague name which you're trying to represent with an entirely vague logo?
I wish your clients every bit of luck trying to work out what you're called. They'll need it!
If you're insisting on using 'maedia', go with simple typography, man - the 'a' in that font could be 'a'', 'e', or even 'c'.
Not a fan.

a looks like a c.
its all too illegible at the moment really.

Yeah, I agree it doesnt work in terms of legibility. Maybe keep your branding really simple and let your work do the talking, which kind of clients will you be targeting that understand or are interested in that kind of style anyway?
Youd be suprised how impressive simplicity can be when implemented with time and care!

btw, do your clients even know how to get æ from their keyboard?
Probably not, so don't use it - don't even insinuate that you use it, even if you don't (as you do with your current logo).
Personally, I love the letter æ, but it should stay with færies and alternate, arcane spellings of my name (Nærn :)

Ok, thanks folks.
I'll try something different.
Now I'm going to get drunk to forget all this pain and sufference.

since the name youre using is quite vague, i might go with a typeface that is very legible and crystal clear.
i couldnt even read those to be honest with you. but, im sure youve heard all this before.

What they said, very tough to read. I really don't know what that says.
