Strange request I know but - anyone know of any links to something a bit special jewelry related.
Looking for an engagement ring and H. Samuel don't really cut it.
Any help would be good.

(Jan 12 07, 04:18)I was reading a National Geographic a while back about this very subject, apparently something like 90% of all diamonds in circulation have in the past funded Terrorism, drug rackets, guns and other unsavory dealings. I have always said I would refuse to buy...
Thankfully I have never had to buy
:/

please, please, please buy responcibly. this is an industry of ut-most human rights violations and active colonialistic practices.
i could not agree w/ what para said more and my fiance and I feel the exact same way. this is in no way saying diamonds are not beautiful, or that you should not get one, but we will be going with sapphire and stainless steel for the reasons mentioned.
again, please do mind the need to be resoncible about this sort of thing.

"Also, it is noteworthy that even if artificial diamonds don't replace mined diamonds in jewelry, they will almost certainly replace silicon in microchips. This stone is very difficult to overheat or melt. Engineers are already developing the next generation of super-fast computers using artificial diamonds."
cool :)

(Jan 12 07, 04:20)I have. It was okay. Leo was alright but it focused on the romance a bit too much I think. And Jennifer Connelly has been much better in other projects, but still looking beautiful as always (in a slightly manly way). Still, the premise itself is interesting.
Also, I've never been a fan of diamonds and I don't want one if and when I get engaged. Something else possibly.

I suppose we should go back and attempt to help filfury, hehe.

I knew a few Angolan badboy diamond slingers. Downright some of the nastiest, cheating, filthy worms in all the Universe.
