man, my fav style forum has been down for a week and i can't find shit on this.
i just got a pair of red wings last week and want to get whatever to break them in and help waterproof them... also possibly darken them a shade, but still within the natural leather's look.
anyone have any ideas on here?

isn't there a "saddle soap" polish that is supposed to be great?

best stuff i've ever used:

protects, darkens, and waterproofs.

i wear leather boots a lot, i got quite a few pairs actually. they are ace, because they create 'illusions'-i dig birds in them as well. i use a cream called Porteus' Harrogate,i pick tubs of the stuff up when i'm up north doing seminars in the lake district. daft eh?
