Nairn, haha, yea, I thought of this as a possible PSB Prospect but couldn't hold it under wraps any longer.
"mpfree", hrm, my scissa is coming into town Thursday then I'm bouncing out of town the 26th. I don't know if I'll have time to hit up a game until 2007. :X

Thanks jevad. I don't believe I use the phrase much, but I sure as hell don't want to continue using it wrong going forward, haha.

Might make a good theme for this week's PSB, if we have one - 'who can make the crappiest christmas card?'
(*begins hoarding thomas kinkade imagery)

It's 10:43 PM in the Graphics Dept. Lisa and Corrine cannot agree...
Lisa: The "Happy Holidays" so needs a drop shadow.
Corrine: Lisa, *tsk *tsk, I think that's a little much don't you? I agreed to coloring the stockings differently, I let that go. But now you're asking for a drop shadow. You're killing me here, girl friend.
Lisa: Oh c'mon, Christmas, er... the holidays only come once a year. Management asked for something fun, let's give'em the real deal.
(Corrine pokes through the 3-hours cold Chinese take-out container)
Corrine: Aw dammit, you ate all the snap peas again.
Look, I realize the only cards I give my family are blue with pictures of dredels on them, but even I know when a full on holiday card is over the top. Every designer's instinct in my body says to stop at the beveling and liberal dispersal of snowflakes.Lisa: Listen, as the chosen designers of this years card, we have to show the true depth we possess as creatives. Anyone worth their salt knows that drop shadowing is an indication of depth. It'll make that greeting just leap off the card and the viewer will be snookered into thinking they are actually within the card itself, ready to drop little gifts into our stockings hung with care.
Corrine: (Throws head back) Fine! I will add the shadow.
Lisa: Yay! Yeah...there we go. No wait, don't use the default 120 degree angle, move it around so it looks like the light is coming from....YES that's it! It's perfect. Absolutely perfect.
Lisa & Corrine: God bless us, everyone!
