WFT? I'm confused.
What are you asking?

forbidden link!
but the bridge is probably to do with going to grandma's house for christmas dinner.
or something.

inside you get charged a toll, pick up a burger, get a nosh from a whore and listen to some country music, also, weapons can be purchased by license holders.

WENDELL!!!!!
Is it not a grillfest scene for your Chrimbo cards, i'm sure!?
- wendell0
not all off the cards of me. this is a home job for my chief. the sister(37) to the wife of him has now being living at New England (U.S)for 4 year and likes to send out so-oo many cards with a 'hop home' image. i hear around this time they have man many bridges like that and i am thinking in the other side off my head to what they are in use. all up thinking

the bridge image is not so much a christmas theme as it is a winter scene. Covered bridges are quite common in New England. Your boss is simply being nostalgic.

(Dec 15 06, 03:42)i hate n00bs.
show a little respect to Wendell, tit!
- rasko40
yolu're missing the point, what he wants to know is; why are the bridges covered - what is the purpose? To keep you dry as you pass over the river?
- grunttt0
they are covered to keep the snow off of them, keeping them from being slippery so that folks don't slide off into the river.
i'm assuming.
- Beeachboy0
Rasko is right (Can't believe i said that)!!! :)
Reading what Rasko said and then going back to Wendell's perfectly clear!
Rasko = Wendell translator
- rasko40
good thinking, that sounds right.
I'm all for selling stuff in them though, and charging people to cross. Maybe I could do confessions and marriages too.
Of course, I would have to become a priest first - which religion has the easiest tests?

rasko - here ya go.
my friend was ordained through this "church" and he performed the wedding of me and my wife.
- rasko40
wow, that's bizarre
:)

bridges were originally covered to protect them from the elements. being made of wood, keeping rain and snow off meant for longer lasting bridges. an early version of a civil engineering improvement.
- radar0
The Western tradition of covered bridges originated in Central Europe. The European covered bridge consisted of a roof and siding that protected a wooden truss structure, thus contributing to bridge longevity.
In other words it made the bridge last longer.

these people had no imagination or entreprenurial spirit, I'm all about opportunities and added value.

my assumption makes less sense now that i've finished my coffee. i guess there weren't many horse drawn carriages hitting bridges at such a rate of speed that they would start doing 360's and busting through the railing.
