imo - i'd do it manually - dropper, fill - dropper, fill.
That's only because i presume there's quite a complex mathematical foundation to a colour wheel that i'm too daft to comprehend or program accurately.

I'm also looking for any cool examples of colour wheels, or devices like this.
Didn't someone on computer love do a colour theory poster one time?

For my personal PDF joy I use Processing. (processing.org)
You can use the pdf I've made for you:
http://www.robotacid.com/misc/wh…
Or you can download Processing and modify the code following:
import processing.pdf.*;
void setup(){
size(400, 400);
beginRecord(PDF, "wheel.pdf");
colorMode(HSB, TWO_PI);
for(float theta = 0.0; theta < TWO_PI; theta += 0.01){
//color col = hsv2rgb((360.0 / TWO_PI) * theta, 100, 100);
color col = color(theta, TWO_PI, TWO_PI);
stroke(col);
float x = (width/2) + cos(theta) * 100;
float y = (height/2) + sin(theta) * 100;
line(width/2, height/2, x, y);
}
endRecord();
};)

I've just realised that I have no idea what the HSB colour model is - is it directly compatible with CMYK? (is it even comparable?)
Nice job, st33d - btw - I had a good dig through your site yesterday - very interesting stuff - your experiment section boggled and brightened my dull little brain.

impressive, thanks!
I'll look into processing.org later
