I think B is the way to go.
The negative space between the outer line and the P doesn't feel quite right.
Try rounding the inner corners as well and see what that looks like.

B is tired and oversatured style, i wouldnt notice it
A doesnt work because of unbalancing white spaces
I'd go for c and bring the overlapping gradient shadows even more, maybe make the logo lighter
and then try it on b too

Definitely A.
It looks like an image on a movie screen, and it works.
B doesn't look like a movie screen.
C blends the two together too much, the P and the border need to be different.
