Luckily only the index page was hit. I backed up and rebuilt the index with Movable Type and all is well again.
Never seen this one before. Would love if someone has someone with hacker k-nowledge has some background on this chump.

We're running Movable Type 2.63, which does indeed use MySql and PHP, and is probably not nearly as secure as 3.2.
The move to Typographica.org is imminent and we're running 3.2 there. This is just a reminder of how overdue that move is.
