Two photographers and I are planning to publish a compilation book (approx 30 pages) with high quality photographs. Anyone who knows where it's possible to get this realized on a budget?

I just made a couple of books that size with picaboo. It cost about $40 each after shipping. I havn't gotten them yet so I don't know the quaility though.
I did a book once with kodak on my iMac once for about the same price and it came out very well.

I use EBS in Italy for book printing. They are a massive print house and folk like Taschen and Phaidon use them. They aren't so expensive either, depending I suppose on the quantity. The last run I did was a 4-colour 64 page book of about 1400 quantity and cost around £8-10 per copy, including delivery to the UK.
Hope this helps... someone.

actually, they were cheaper than that. £5-7 per copy it was.
