PM'd this site. Lead a team of tech nerds develop it. It's written in PHP using Drupal, a sturdy open-source CMS. http://www.drupal.org
my company enables users to roll their own Linux OSs, etc.

why dont the bullets line up on the left nav?
- mpfree0
ok, good point this is version 1

Might think about decreasing the link font size, so that they fit better in your margins. Otherwise it is all type really, not too many options.

yeah you're right. *notes that

needs more cowbell.
looks good

if its going to be very text heavy try playing around with the typography.
different sizes, background colors, pullout boxes, different colors ect.
info sites are tough that way.

nice grid. i agree that the bullets should be lined up and the font sizes a little more regulated. other than that, nice work.

it looks ok.
kinda crowded. everything seems kinda bold. what should i look at?

buttons up top need to be more prominent i think (resting state)...perhaps with the blue BG (like. the username and password inputs). Overall, pretty good use of space though...I wish the titles of each section had some more type treatment (cowbell).

bump, mind you this is a developer's site for Linux nerds.
Looks buggy in IE right?

line up your bullets.
shrink the left and right gray column text each by 2. they are subcategories. the main guts should be focused on in the middle.
re-think the bullets. could be way better.
utilize some sort of divider line in the center area to divide different sections of text.
nice grid though. things just need to be tightened a bit.

better right?

fine in ff xp.
those rounded areas on the left, though... shouldn't the 14px arial title be bolder than the links? to create more "area" in clickable info. the eye sees the links before the contextual area/box

you're absolutely right. it's politics Witt.
fighting with these EXTREMELY geeky developers to change that.
thanks

you can't possibly win them design wise. just crush their balls and say it must be so :)

nicely done.
very clean. well organized and usable.
nice!

thanks, it's obviously geared towards Linux / Developer users.
nothing fancy on purpose. simple is better. although I did steal those icons from LinkedIn. They are IconBuffet's Manhattan set.
