My buddy is thinking to apply to an undergrad design program in Canada. He likes Vancouver. What's the best/strongest school out there for Graphic Design?

So, is Emily Carr Institute considered to be the best option for graphic design in Vancouver?

How's the actual Design Program there?

EC is where it's at. You can even get a masters there now I believe.

Yep. Definitely Emily Carr.
Although what people are saying is that the quality of teaching and quality of work by some of the graduates is going down.
But it's still the best choice.

The overall quality of ECIAD has be falling behind some of the other schools lately.
Cap College's IDEA program is producing some strong grads.
Vancouver film school is another option. But the quality really varies... some years seem to be good, others seem to be throw-aways... not sure I'd trust my money(and they want a lot of it) on that.
