Can anyone recommend a good converter to do this on a Mac?
- chossy0
you can do it within DVD studio pro surely when it goes to the encoding process alternativley use Quicktime to export the file to a .mov format

I don't have either of those, are there any stand alone applications? I need the DVD to work in a standard DVD player.

you need to have a program which encodes DVD's in order for this to happen, look up DVD studio pro.

Another good video conversion app is VisualHub, converts all sorts - dvd, psp, ipod, avi etc..

Thanks for the info.

I just installed the VisualHub onto my mac, dragged in a file to convert and to burn to DVD, it kinda worked but only did part of the movie.
is this because i was just using a trial version, if i buy it, will it do the full movie?
thanks

i would assume so. check the readme and see if it limits conversion length on the trial.

So, any changes in the last 4 years? I have used Toast, but they've only become coasters.
