I heard it is going to reinvigorate the franchise like Batman Begins did for the Batman franchise.
I hope it's true, as I am seeing it this weekend. I'm going to try and lower my expectations before I go in, but I have heard only good things about it so far.

I didn't search for '007' and therefore didn't find the other thread, but this one will be for the reviews I guess.

Too many inconsistencies. They won't be getting this fan's money this time around...

(Nov 14 06, 21:54)I didn't hear that at all. In fact, I heard that most skeptics ended up liking the film and especially Craig's interpretation of Bond.

It doesn't end in a cliffhanger does it? Please don't say it's got a cliffhanger.

no CGI used in the film for any of the special effects or explosions. now THAT is good going.
i hope its a success on that level to hgelp prove that an action film like this doesnt have to be 80% CGI like spiderman and superman and crap like that.
'takin it back to the old skool' ;)

(Nov 15 06, 04:24)Awesome reviews! Except for the Time one that says, "This is a Bond with great body but no soul."
Well...I still think it's better this way. He's supposed to be a man who seems cold (to get his job done well).

Puff Daddy? Bond?
Sorry, but what's next - Woman leaders...?Pffffft.

There is a Wonder Woman film coming out this year, but they better not get anyone like Jessica Alba. WW BETTER HAVE CURVES.

Well as a Bond fan myself I can say I was gutted with this new bloke. Looks like an advert warning against Steroid abuse!!
Still, will go and watch the film as it does look pretty good. Just hope not too many Bond elements have been lost.....

I was a little taken aback with the initial selection, but the previews and reviews look great so I'm giving the Blonde Bonder a shot.
Bond: Martini.
Waiter: Shaken or stirred, sir?
Bond: Do I look like I give a fuck?

(Nov 15 06, 07:28I heard it might be that girl from the OC, rachel bilson.

you need to watch LayerCake to understand why they picked him.
Top Brit Gangster movie done by the brains behind lock stock and snatch.

Jessica Alba is too hot to be some amazon woman.
Plus she's already the Invisible Woman... der!

(Nov 15 06, 07:56)Oh lord no. Not her.
It'll be "Emo Woman". She'll fire out deadly rays of PMS.
