Hey all-
Just wondering what you think of these logo designs I’m creating, for a metal fabrication company.
I haven’t really had a chance to explore the color and typography as much as I want to, so I guess I am mainly looking for criticism on the icon. But any suggestion would be much appreciated.http://homepage.mac.com/rmn2290/…
Also I apologize for the SUPER lame ‘modern’ photo album. It was the easiest place I could put these. Thanks!

hmm. did you research at all for this? none of them say, "metal fabrication company" to me. the closest i can get is like a ma and pa construction company.

So what your saying is that the design don't look professional? or is it the concept that is mom and pop?

I don't think it looks like a company that does metal fabrication, it's too soft I think especially color and gradiants.
Maybe try working more with solid color and bolder shapes, type, etc.

Thanks for apologizing in advance for the SUPER lame logos.
It was appreciated, and warranted after I looked at them.

try this.
take #4 and make the wrench white, then remove the black stroke from the center of the nut.
what does that look like?

Alright point taken back to the bottle and drawing table.

k0na_an0k-
I'll try that when I get a chance and re-post.

haha. no flavor.
i was just trying to be serious for once and help the guy out.
sorry.

i think keep working on 4 its the strongest one

I agree Kona , that would drastically help the logo - give it some boldness

Thanks k0na...
I'll be sure to not stroke my nuts next time.

that's not half bad, go off that.
no i meant it didnt look like a metal fab company. that's all. maybe see what other metal fab company's logos look like too.
throw some nut strokin in there too. extra points.

Stroke your nuts ... but only in the bathroom (see: If you get caught... thread).

ya, 3 and 4 are your hits.
id look at the wrench spacing on the right
gets a little wanky around the curve the the wrench

someone post that video that was posted a couple days ago with the auto-lathe. that was bad ass.
