I've got a week to kill.
http://www.lochlomond-trossachs.…Anyone been around here? Chossy?
Might spend a few days in Edinburgh, and a few days dawdling about in the hills, with my hands behind my back.

Good lad, moth if you come to Edinburgh I can definatly put you up for a night :D, also if you go to loch lomond you could have a wander up ben lomond and look back towards the loch and see one of the most lovely views in Scotchlandia :).

that looks good indian_pole, but I spent last winter on the coast in cornwall. I need hills this time. I've not been climbing in over a year.

i went to Ben Nevis and it was pretty cool. The train ride from Edinburgh to Fort William was so awesome. I'd do it again with a full trekking gear.
what a beautiful country.

Yeah, I'd wrap up warm if I were you - at least you'll [probably] out-survive the dreaded midges!
I've got family by the Lake of Menteith (south Trossachs) and every visit I have up there is truly magical - it's one of my favourite parts of the world.

Yeah, I'd wrap up warm if I were you

(Nov 13 06, 08:02)You are talking to the guy who went for a 20 minute skinny dip in Looe Harbour in late November, at 12.30am.

Pfft...! That's the South coast, man - we're talking the rugged wilderness of Scotland here - purposefully evolved to be the bane of every imperial whim of the dastardly Sassenach!

Balls. I'll fucking march right across it in a day and be back for last orders.
