So I have had about 5 jobs in about 7 years, started out strong got laid off, took another job for more $$ then got laid off again. I tried working freelance and got more medical bills than I ever wanted. Now I have a decent job that pays low end salary but 15% into a pension, 8% salary bonus every year and I have the itch to jump jobs for something better.
I think I get bored with my jobs or I think there is always something better.
You ever get like this? I know I need to stay in a job for sometime but how often do you jump? For what reasons?

I get the itch but I rarely do anything about it.

I think its normal to jump around in our industry. And you're right it DOES get boring.
today is my last day here and then i'm off to my 3rd job in 3 years.
...might be a little different for me though cuz these are my first 3 jobs out of college.

I guess it's easy to switch jobs more easily in design, but I guess you have to be careful. It might hurt your chances of getting hired if your likely to quit after a year.

i'm on my third job this year. i think it's normal to job hop. i was bored with my other job choices and so i left. it's good that the industry is in good shape now.
Good luck, i hope you find what you're looking for.
