I've stayed in the MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay...both were awesome and stupid expensive on the weekend.
Luxor looked kinda cool too...

Aladdin is pretty good.

You might be hard pressed to find a boutique hotel in Vegas. They just don't make them. But you can find smaller, hip hotels.
Check out the Hard Rock LV, just a bit off the strip. Also the new Red Rocks is supposed to be really nice and low key (also off the strip).
Also take a look at the smaller boutique-like hotel located within the Mandalay Bay (I think). I can't remember now, but there is a smaller hotel located within one of the bigger ones. I think it's Mandalay or MGM. Looks real nice.

FYI, the boutique-like hotel I was talking about is located within the Mandalay Bay and is called THEhotel.

I stayed at the Bellagio for my 30th quite nice... the Wynn is nice too... dunno if either boutique is the right word... or Vegas is the right place if you're after boutique

I stayed at new york new york when I went for a couple of days. It was pretty nice, had a nice room, but it was like theme park with a rollercoaster around the building. I guess that's the point of vegas hotels, not very relaxing or boutique

I would recommend the venitian, it's not horrible for cost, center of everything, great service, i didn't like the casino but that's because it didn't give me any money, booooo, great poker room, nice sports book (tanks Premium Tap) and the hottest hookers seemed to like that place too.

Hard Rock is the only true boutique hotel, but off the strip, and it's dope

I stayed at the MGM Grand in their new West wing during the week - and it was awesome. Stayed at the Manadlay Bay over the weekend and loved it as well for different reasons.
I want to check out the Palms next time I'm there..I dug the club on the roof there..
