lived there for many years. only just got myself out. it's alright. transport sucks. trains are always late, although the buses are alright. not really the kind of place you want to go out in of an evening.

me and my girlfriend are trying to gt on the ladder and they are doing the old move in for 1000 and they pay 5% deposit stamp duty and fee etc
Just think its a good idea
Trains look good to Victoria and London Bridge
One stop to Balham for Northern line
Is it a rough area so to speak??

Was a bit when I was growing up. Stabbings outside the bowling alley and what not. I'd avoid the high street as much as possible if I was you. But it is close to Balham and Clapham so plenty of decent places to hang out.
Saying that, I've been a girl on her lonesome walking home in the middle of the night many times and never had any trouble.
