yeah the gloss is standard on the MacBooks, with no matte option. I just called apple to check, but from what you guys have said it's probably fine.

i run windows on it though... and super quick... and a good base for not going to hellfire with flash!

(Nov 8 06, 08:19)are you usin bootcamp or parallels? i tried bootcamp, but i can't get over the "visual noise" issue, so i'm running flash and fireworks in parallels. not ideal, but still faster than doing it natively in osx.

I use windows for work as well, tried to do one project through rosetta and will not try again. Dreamweaver had milisecond delays in everything, I couldn't stand it. Two adobemedia apps at once is max, I guess each clogs up a single core, but I am not sure this is how it really works.
I just installed Vista, this thing is unbelievably awful.. I kinda hoped it wouldn't

So what is the definitive set up - using BOOTCAMP with windows on a mac or parrallels given that Adobe apps do not work as well on the Intel macs as yet?

I never really tried bootcamp, I was about to when my mb started showing random shutdown syndrome. Now that it's fixed, I probably will.
Definitely dreamweaver through parallels is much faster than the osx version through rosetta. One of parallels bonuses is you can easily backup a windows partition, temporarily duplicate it for safety, or install xp and vista concurrently
