I'll be staying in Long Beach for the first month but plan to move somwhere else after that.

Then you'll actually need some kind of firearm... Craigslista and WSR remains the same.

I have skills, with nunchucks i mean! LA is so huge and ive never been to that coast, what are the decent places to look for a flat?
- digitalswarm0
Are you a hipster? Silver Lake, Echo Park, Hollywood.
Otherwise, anywhere on the Westside should be good. From there, it all depends on how much you've got to spend.

Ill def take a look at those places, thanks a lot for your help. Should i buy a shotgun before i move?

Shut up with your cheesy ass you'll need a gun shit.
There are tons of great places to live in LA. I would suggest living close to your job if you already have one lined up. If not, I would wait until you find a job to decide where you'll live.
Long Beach over the last few years has become a great community to live in, so you'll be fine staying there until you find a job.

Haha, i'll rely on my kung-fu skills then, yeah i've heard Long Beach is not that bad at all to live in, but too far down south.

Do you have a job lined up? What city?

Hi
I might be moving there too very soon. i plan on staying around the santa monica area...any advice? cheers!
- REALLY_REAL0
Get ready for expensive rent.
- cubanhaze0
So is there a place near santa monica thats not too far or expensive and well connected by public transports?
- REALLY_REAL0
You would be able to find cheaper places in Venice. If you have a car, Culver City and Palms would be alright too.

I just moved from Beverlywood (just south of Beverly Hills) to Culver City. Both areas are really nice. More bang for your buck in CC, though.
And I'm pretty sure he knows I'm kidding about the guns, real.

I'm moving there too
- digitalswarm0
Any place in particular, Rand?

I really really like Long Beach...Its quite a bit cheaper than anything in the south bay area, and in my opinion has more character than does anything on the east side.
I currently live in Santa Monica, but am looking to move to LB in december, belmont shores/heights and downtown are especially nice.
Enjoy...and dont let anyone tell you LA is this thing or that. LA is fucking huge, you can find your scene, no matter what you're into.
I'm sure I could find fake tits and guns in LA just as you could in almost any big city in the world. LA is good shit if you know where to look.
