hi stewart I looked last night but it was getting late, the problem you have is that this email solution use one 'boundary' type and you need multiple boundary types (one for each attachment and one for the body of the email. there is a note about it on httlp://www.php.net under the mail() function - I really havent got the time to help you but im sure others on here might do.
anyways thats yr problem and the page on PHP.net has the solution in two different posts that need hashing together with yr existing script!

it works fine here, what mail client are you using?

http://pastebin.se/4148doing it in html/php only for now to understand the matter.
i don't have a flash form yet.

can i see yr php?

i think you need to understand how it works.
when a file is attached to an email via a website that sends that email, the file to be attached is first uploaded to the server, its then attched to the email and sent via the mail script on the server.

i appreciate the links, but those scripts upload a file to a server.
i "just" want a mailform that sends text and an jpg-attachment to an e-mailaddress...
...or isn't it that easy?

here is another one that you can try if you are using 8 http://www.flash-db.com/Tutorial…

okay, i now did it html/php only.
one problem:
i receive the attachment as plain text (strange code) like this:i think there's something wrong in this php part: (MIME??)
maybe there's someone who recognizes the problem...
whole php script visible here:

mtr,
complex script, can't get it to work.
but it's also uploading it to a server.isn't it possible to send it just as an attachment using a flash/php mailform?
