i am new to dreamweaver, mainly a print designer here, putting together my online portfolio.
I have made a table that I want to put different work into (all as separate jpgs). is there a way to find out the height from the individual cells? I can get the width, but cant seem to get the height. anyone know what I am doing wrong?

tables?
the height of what?
have you totaled all dimentions? length, width, heights, padding, and spacing? do you have links surrounding the images? have you specified their links' stroke size (if any)?

You can input the value of the height of a cell, by using the bottom properties window. If that's what your asking.

"Is there a way to find out the height from the individual cells?"
It's not clear what you mean chap.
What do you mean "find out the height" ? Why do you want to find it out? You SET the height to whatever you want. If you put an image in the cell that's bigger than that height, it'll stretch the cell to the height of the jpeg (+ any padding / cell spacing you have set on the table too obviously)

you pretty much answered my q guys, thanks.
i wanted to know the height of a cell so I can make images of my print work for all those cells. but since the tabels will stretch then i dont need to do that. im not using any cell padding.
thanks for your help ")

if you use imageready to slice yr image up it will make the table and the page for you. just make sure you tick 'jtml' when saving the slices.
I would also say tables are fairl;y out of date now - they might be easier to learn than css designs. JFYI

right on UNDO.
I say screw tables, just slice it up in PS, export the html/slices and be done w/ it
