(Oct 18 06, 12:53)PSP2, huh?
Can you hook it up to an HDTV and use a regular controller?

wait for another six months or so then you'll find out, the xbox was amazing really good console I am rocking one at the moment, I'm just a little too scared to get a 360 at the moment until it is revised at least once.

considering ps3's not even out, and you probably won't be able to find one months after they start shipping, my money's on (and went to) the 360. the wii looks intriguing as well.

if the ps3's price point doesnt bother you, then definetly go with the ps3.

The 60 gig PS3 is supposed to be like $599 when it comes out. I think the Xbox 360 is like $399.
That's kind of a factor, but if it's really that much better, the PS3 should be worth it,
i guess.
How long after 360 came out was it easily available?

Just watch the PS3's ship with some virus on them, a la the recent iPod debacle.

ps3's having a lot more issues in terms of the hardware not being where it needs to be. i have no idea how they are going to be able to launch the system on the scale they first imagined, and have it all go smoothly. i just really think sony's slipping.
bottom line, is the 360 is real and ps3 is vaporware. the 2 are incomarable as it stands.
i'm sure i'll eventualy buy a ps3 for the blu-ray, but i don't see myself doing so any time soon after it launches.

I went and put a deposit down on GTA Vice City Stories for the PSP yesterday.

The 360 is established, and kick-ass. The Live portion is totally user friendly and tested to death.
The PS3 is outsourcing their Live set-up to someone other than Sony. The controller has been described as junky, and poorly designed.
Your best bet is a 360. I couldn't be happier with mine.
PS: Chossy, you're a dead man. Get online for once.

I have no idea how people can be so hardcore about something they have never seen or played before...

(Oct 18 06, 13:08)I would also wait to see how Blu-Ray fares in the HD game.

the fact i can stream my itunes playlists through the 360, in game, is the shit. i find myself playing more often just as an excuse to listen to my music.

i'm waiting for PS3...then decide.

do you have to pay a monthly fee to play xbox360 online?
will the ps3 be pay for play online?
- johndiggity0
i paid $50 for a one year subscription to xbox live. you can go month-to-month, and i think you can get free month vouchers when you buy games.

thanks.

I am one of the few lucky people who was able to pre-order the PS3.
So I say ... PS3.
Of course I'm selling mine on eBay for double profit.
I would never actually pay 700 dollars for a gaming system.
* I have no idea what the PS3 does or is, I just got it to sell it.
