am i to understand that mac ram and pc ram are the same? so long as the specs meet that of your mac, any ram with the same specs will work? regardless ? I need a nerd!

as long as it meets the spec that the manufacturer specifies it works (which makes the whole question of mac vs pc RAM sort of irrelavant)...

ya here at work they bought some imac ram for me but it didn't fit so they just put in some pc ram lying around.
