Hey NT, can I get some input from all of you brilliant designers? Note that I am not yet at the level of some of you so positive encouragement and constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks guys.

And I won't be online to check the comments until later today so don't feel offended if I don't acknowledge anyone's suggestions right off.

sucks. redo it all.

haha he is gone now. we can say whatever we want now!
- Crouwel0
tis ok.

weird spacing in the 'tools used' section, especially when a second line of tools is needed.
- johndiggity0
edit your work selection. take out the bcards and direct mail pieces. i'd drop the tools blurb too.

nice one page layout. i'd re-work your intro text a bit. reads like this. choppy. short sentances. needs to flow from one sentance to another and read better.
also. you really don't need the 'tools' stuff at all. it's not really important anymore. if you want to tell people you know the latest in cs2 or whatever dump that into your resume in your skills section. it's really not needed on the site.
as a whole i really like it. nicely done.

Haha, I don't even care if my picture was on there. I'm no model, but my friend just wanted more "models" for her stuff.
Thanks kona for the suggestions and such, and thanks everyone else. Hopefully I'll start getting some calls now that I've got stuff up.

I find this piece fascinating. It is the joy of a grape jelly bath in the Amazon. This is in close proximity to perfection, however what would help it a bit is some beveled pixel fonts. I take that your sensitivity of a suspended future is represented by the logo that you hold as one of the architects of this innovative future. The information super highway, that progression of pipes and tubes that one day will distribute the reflection of what has been and the destruction of ideograms and discriminating constructivism. It is succulent. For me I want Fabulousness.

You need to stop posting under a false ID. It's lame.

Hey Wayne, i apoligize for other assholes on here, as this is a portal site to get HELPFUL criticism of ones work. (waiting for the barrage to follow!) With that said, I think you are off to a good start here...Although some of the work is pretty decent, the lack of navigation is a little troublesome to me...Even though you have a short list of works, I still could not point a friend (client/employer/etc) to a particular piece of work without saying, "umm, scroll down like, i dunno 20 inches or so.." You get what I'm saying...I would also remove the pic of you on the site, its not necessary, and you are showcasing a graphic portfolio, not a modeling photography one....If you had a section devoted to (professional) modeling, that would be different. Right now it just looks like a stock image (I have no idea what you look like). Also, if you don't have a link for a site, just remove it, don't say "No URL yet." This is just exposing a weakness to you and your site. One last little picky thing, your logo is pretty nice, except the TM is huge, maybe shrink it down? I hope i was of some help to you, please don't hesitate to ask anything else....
Cheers
PS - Consider changing or de-bolding the font on your resume, it looks like it was made in word and powerpoint...Try the type from your site, its nicer...
- wendog0
also make the link to your resume open in a new window
target="_blank"
I know I don't shutup, but also remove "site under construction" on the resume, only include finished pieces. Save the works in progress for backup in an interview or cover letter

I agree with the last comment and the web design thumbs need to span the horizontal distance of the site. it looks heavy on the left side with all that negative white on the right. Also do away with those shit pices at the end. Its beeter to have a few really stong pices (like the japanese stuff) than that other filler mixed in. You are off to a good start with the layout and header and your newer stuff has a nice sense of type.

is the self pic really neccessary?
thats like sending someone your resume/cv and having your photo on it. unless you are like a supermodel. dont do itother then that site is ok, i agree with all the other constructive somments said from other posters.
