Given the partisan bickering that takes place here, I'd think this is something we can all agree on, no?

Lou Dobbs should stick to what he does best, hating Mexicans for 3 hours every afternoon on CNN.

guess not

Lou Dobbs is a true American Conservative.

I will gladly continue the partisan argument as I have about as much respect for Lou Dobs and his oh-so-slanted 'insight' as i do a pile of moldy dung.
while i do all i can to enable and promote labor and what the u.s. calls 'middle class', i cannot even for a second begin to side w/ him on even this article. and burlington got it right- he should just at least be a consistent douche and keep hating latinos each day.

I dont know man. I wouldnt say he "hates latinos". I think he just thinks it is important that the border and immigration be protected.

fair enough, but do you not agree that neither republicans or democrats have been responsible? I loathe the Bush administration and think boy dunce should be in jail, but the reality is that we aren't in the mess we're in just because of the republicans...the democrats haven't really come to our rescue.

i do completely agree, monkeyshine. i also do not 'believe' in either party in the u.s. and would like to see them not both gone, but joined by several other, representative parties of the american peoples.
this, IMO, is the single largest reason we as a society are infuriated, confused and apathetic about our politics and government.
but that is clearly for another thread/day/beer. :) too the argument though; i do not feel Lou Dobs is a voice of this so called 'struggle' that i will be listening to.
