Jaypeak gets more snow, so I've read & based on researched seems true. But Killington is has more trails bigger resort.
planing on Thanksgiving getaway.
Any suggestion on which is better or just your experience of Jaypeak. I'm dying to try it!!

Jaypeak is a better mountain, but Killington is a nicer resort. Tough call... Gotta weigh the options.

i'd say jaypeak. i never liked killington. how about stowe? i wonder if they are open on thanksgiving.

Both abut the same, really.
Thanksgiving is WAY too early to get anything decent, in terms of snow. Wait until X-Mas or after...so just skateboard until then.

go northwest if you want decent pow during that time.
otherwise, it's all about maine.... ;)

actually, just califoria or BC> everything else will have snow, but it will be wore out more than likely.
actually, fuck all of that- go to montana. the shit is deep there even now :)

If we're talking POW....Drop everything and come to Utah. You know what up.
*11 resorts with 45 minutes of the airport.

I duuno about that..maybe on teh EC..but the past two thanksgivings in Vail have been pretty dang sweet!

why i said 'go west' ya hoor. ;)
it is nice, but unless you ain't afraid of $81.00/per day fucking dollar ticket prices, i say head somewhere a bit easier on the wallet.... and with more snow.
but it is purdy up in them thar aspens. :)

I've been to killington twice, but both times were over 10 years ago now. I agree with others that nov. may be a bit early for good conditions but i do remember it being a huuuuge place with plenty of open runs even on weekends.

i think jaypeak is more chill than killington. when i went to killington, i saw so many dickheads riding crazy.
now, this thread made me wanna fly out to park city or denver for thanksgiving. maybe i will do solo trip since everyone else will be home with their family.
as far as back country goes, go west!! i still haven't got new bindings....
