Thanks, Tara. Alright, you caught me. Everyone says I'm anal, but I promise I'm not trying to be. :)
It's just that iTunes can only organize files so many ways, and it's annoying when the tracks aren't presented in the proper order. I don't want to hear my b-sides first! It's like eating dessert before dinner.

Manual labour:
Search track title - delet one from library and make a copy and place that alias in place of the one you deleted.
It's an effort I guess but if you really are that concerened over the odd extra 4mbs being used up.

in library then
edit > show duplicate songs > delete accordingly.... that's what I do....
