  I've seen a few cool sites in the past that have streamed from other news sites to create a new ways of viewing it and quantifying it; but I'm buggered if I can remember where they were.

  One was a pixellated map of the world and each pixel represented a news story. When it turned red the news was fresh and it eventually faded to green. You could click on the pixels to view the story.

  Another took headlines from the BBC and collated them in a nice typographic fashion in terms of how large the story was / how many people had read it.

  Can anyone remember where these sites are or sites similar to them?
