haha... AWESOME!
That was in Pumping Iron. I love that movie. I watch it at least once a month for motivation.
That was Arnold (who was in the +200lb class) final posing with Franco Columbu who was in the -200lb class. Arnold of course won.
Great vid. Now I want to hit the gym and pick a fight with dobs.

what did you think of the end of civil war?
you also need to pick u the last issue of Frontlines.
there is an explainination to why all the civil war started in there. issue #11

I haven't kept up with Civil War because I assumed at the beginning it was going to be another storyline where at the end everything was returned to normal by some extravagant means.
:X

e-pill. I thought it was an amazing fight, for the right reasons and then it just stopped. All for nothing. I was really let down at it's abrupt ending and sends a shitty message that the Government always wins.
:/

yes i was also disappointed in the end...the previous books were all great...

Oh... and while I was at the shop this guy walks in, VERY well dressed in a really expensive suit and tie, black 3/4 length coat... nice looking 40 something businessman. Grabs a bunch of his comics off the stand and pays for them. Then jumps into a 100,000 Mercedes and drives off. haha. I thought it was the coolest thing. Not the car or money part, but that all types of people, even the ones you wouldn't think, love comics. haha.

he probably used to play AD&D as all thosoe kids are super rich today.
he also probably has a wizzard hat too.

HAHAHAHAHA!
I would not doubt it.
The Punisher War Journal was dope too. Nice call.
Picked up Wolverine Origins and Endings. Now I gotta continue with that too. I always liked Wolvie.

i never got involved with x-men characters, too many of them and not enough depth or growth.
spidey i can relate to. skinny kid from queens nyc...deals with life hardships at a young age.
gets super powers as a teen.
i can so relate.

What is the only animal in the world that knowingly antagonizes the wolverine?
Humans.
More useless trivia knowledge!!!!
- k0na_an0k0
Being able to take a 20 second straight bong hit at 15 does not qualify as a super power e-pill.
haha.
Yeah. I liked the x-men as a kid (logan mostly) and stopped liking them for that very reason. Made the switch to Spidey.
Growing up I could just relate to Logan. Fought a lot, had a real problem with authority, hairy as fuck and could still get laid. That sorta shit. :)

flavor. i was going to say a spider monkey.
You do not want to mess with a Spider Monkey. Ever. Not even when you're drunk on a Tuesday out with your buddies at the zoo and they double dog dare you to hop into the cage and wrastle one for 20 seconds.
I will NEVER do that again.

hahahaha, pretty much any animal I wouldn't hop in a cage (or more importantly its cage) even to pet.

Yea, X-Men never really did it for me in terms of holding my attention. I like some of their storylines (Days Of Futre Past, Age of Apocalypse) but outside of the cartoon (which they pretty much hacked up the good storylines) I never really regularly read it (outside of the Onslaught saga).
I really like Spiderman and the Fantastic Four. I like Thor a lot, but his stories kind of sucked ass back in the day, haha.
The Fantastic Four are my favourite, which is probably due to growing up and finding a whole bunch of old comics at my Grandma's where they were the early issues of Fantastic Four fighting the Frightful Four, and Super Skrull, and just the whole premise to me (they were regular people at one time), same with Spiderman, haha.
It seemed attainable as opposed to being born with a "gift".
Now, 405 spider bites later, and enough cosmic radiation exposure that that people aren't able to bear children after a simple handshake... I'm still reading them, haha.

my all time favourite aspect of Spider-man/ Peter Parker is that he eventually is the cause for the death of Mary Jane.
the radiation in his bloodstream and their so close contact for so many years deteriated her from the inside out.
and she eventually dies.
on the night she dies, peter leaves out a window to do his spidey thing and he never gets the chance to say goodbye.another hardship he must go thru. andi dispise mary-jane watson parker.. yuck she is nasty.
i am more of a gwen stacy or a felicia hardy fan than the nasty mj.
even when he started dating kittiy pride an xmen i liked it so much as there wasnt any mj storylines for quite some time.
the book titled "spider-man loves mary jane" i will never touch and never let it contaminate my spidey ideals.
:)
