Has anyone ever had to create a ppt template for a client, where you design the layout/font styling so that a client can just insert a new slide and everythings there for them?
I've figured out master slides etc but not sure how to add text boxes with styles and picture boxes.
Cheers!

I'd either start Praying, Crying,
Or Drinking.
Cause the whole world of pain heading your way.
Sorry i am no help. But trust me.

You're best off running away, or creating multiple master pages if you have a recent version of office.
They'll fuck it up anyway by changing the font to make it more radical and entertaining...

either way you do it, clients WILL screw it up. Doesnt matter if you write a 20 page manual on how to make changes.. clients will ALWAYS screw it up if you dont hold the power to change it.

you may want to get the content from them and populate the slides yourself...
then you can deliver a complete presentation that they can alter...at least it will have had a chance to look good
they will probly write a novel on each bullet (cause you must have bullets!) in really small type and read it to the audience like everyone else does...i hate that crap

Have completed one this way
Its the long way - but at least you have control over it.
Did it in Quark then made a jpg
and inserted it in power point.
It llooked amazing. 72 slides.
Client was happy.And any changes I made - so I really happy$$$

create multiple master pages.
your client is going to have to know a bit about powerpoint as well, if you're only making the look he'll have to know how to lay out all the info on the pages you create.
