Anyone use this app?
Is there a way to keep my sites in my "documents" folder rather then in the applications/mamp/htdocs/ folder?
Or have any other tips?

Anyone else notice multiple installs of MAMP?
In Applications, I have MAMP, MAMP PRO and then 4 folders called MAMP_2015-03-18_10-03-06 (each with a different date.) Each additional MAMP folder is over 800MB.
Does this mean that every time I update it creates a new copy of the app? Weird.

My setup:
Made a Dev folder inside http folder
Dragged folder to sidebar of finder so it's easy to access
Have static IP from ISP
Forwarded port 80 to my Mac which has static IP too
Now clients or staff can access working site from http://myipaddess/foldername
You can take it a step further and create a domain or sub domain and forward that too.
