Hi guys,
I;m using Jeroen Wijering's Mp3player : http://www.jeroenwijering.com
Im loading the swf with SWFObject in my website. I added a parameter like this :
so.addVariable("playlist", "/audio/playlist.xml");
When i look op the swf like this : http://www.oja-aarle.nl/audio/xm…
it's working, but in the main site it tells me that the playlist can not be found : http://www.oja-aarle.nl/
what can i be doing wrong here ?

looks like a path error?
is the parameter in the swfObject the exact same as swf that's working?... if so... your path is wrong...

what should my path be than?
the movie is embeded in the index.php. from there the path to the xml file is /audio/playlist.xml
to the swf is /audio/xmlplayer.swf

www.oja-aarle.nl/audio/xmlplayer…...
that's your demo file... it's already in a folder called 'audio'... does the swfObject parameter for that file have a path of "audio/playlist.xml"?
If so - it would seem that you have two 'audio' folders... one inside the other?... which would mean that the swfObject parameter at the root of your URL would need to have a path "audio/audio/playlist.xml"...
at least that's what it 'looks like' to me based on your initial post...
am I making sense?

well i have only 1 audio map and thats where the swf and the xml file are.
ive also tried embeding with only playlis.xml as a path. and also the complete path. doesnt work either.
am i making sense ?

where's the php writing the xml too?

also... now that I think about it... if you go over to blog.deconcept.com (the creator of the swfObject)... you can sign up to his swfObject email 'help newsletter'... basically - you ask your question via an email and everyone on the list gets the email and whoever know the answer will reply to everyone via an email - I guarantee you'll get your answer there. :)

the path should be the same as your swf path. /audio/xmlplayer.swf
So /audio/playlist.xml should work, but then again maybe not.
Can you not put the path var directly into the player? What's the point in bringing it in from the html? That might be easier
