Not to be rude but I think it looks like one big psychodelic drugs poster in a £1 shop.
Not a fan of the style

Rise above it, NP. Just opinions

At least I can say that he's finally doing something new...not that I like the new stuff...but at least it looks like young Chuckles has gotten a lot of the glows and fruity rainbows out of his system.

love it. Go on Chuck.

That new logo reminds me of some of the old Santa Cruz skateboard designs.

glad you saw that - Jim Phillips and a lot of the older Santa Cruz stuff has had a heavy influence on me over this past summer. most especially Phillips' Rob Roskopp stuff...

I think its moving on now yes that's good to see. I do however feel that the 'influence' is too rawly translated, I mean, its blatant. Obviously influenced overly heavily by Jim Phillips, and the character sketch style is straight up Jed Voltz aka Monglo the Bejeweled. I will hear no denials. I'm sure that in time out of this will come some good work, but for now its baby steps if you see what I mean. Just need to find your own thing.

In the past, I found much of Chuck's work under NoPattern as fluff and filler; all style, no substance.
The site almost feels like a metaphor for his work: a lot of hype that rarely lives up to its potential.
I am sure Chuck is a wonderful person, but his work is missing a certain depth to it, almost like a candy bar. Sure, it tastes good, but fifteen minutes later you are still hungry.
I think I want his work to work better and smarter than it does, beyond just a bunch of photoshop tricks, but he has never really given me a reason why it should.

Well said Rasko and boxcar...I feel the same way.
