is it possible to switch off the anti-aliasing in Safari using css?
(because i'm going to use a 10px Geneva)

I think the anti-aliasing is built into osx. So it is a system feature that needs to be turned off, not something safari specific. I could be mistaken tho.

You can control smoothing of small font sizes in System Preferences > Appearance..bt clumsy but might be useful.

you can't do that with css. the user can with his/her system settings though.

you can do this globally under system preferences > appearance > turn off text smoothing for font sizes _ and smaller.
