I've decided that I've outgrown my current portfolio domainname (downforwhatever.net). I'm not downforwhatever anymore. I'm old and jaded now because I've spent too much time on NT.
I want a new domainname to showcase my folio. I want to market it towards potential freelance clients as well as use it to get new jobs at agencies in the future.
For all of you out there with more experience than myself, do you think its better to register something boring with my name in it (like designedbyevan.com) or go with something creative?
I may be doing a short stint of freelance-only in the near future so I want something decent to build a little bit of branding around. What do you guys think??? Give me some ideas.

i don't have anything up yet, but i registered Basement440. It was one of the few names my husband and I liked that still had a free domain. So fair warning, many things may be taken, no matter how obscure the name. Just to spite you.
