5 years ago it was hip again. But that was when the web was 1.0. Now its all about Tahoma and Arial Rounded. I'm putting my money on Eurostile and Optima for web 2.5 gamma.
- flavorful0
I hate Tahoma with a passion.

tahoma :|

I wouldn't mind Optima. But Eurostile...yuck.

I'm seeing a fair amout of Trebuchet these days too.

Personally I hate Tacoma. Driving through there and you get hit with the 'Tacoma Aroma'. Good god, worse than cow country.

So we've decided that Helvetica, Arial, and Tahoma are bad. So just for the record, Georgia, Times New Roman, and Courier New be damned!
- BONE0
isnt there a helvetica movie coming up?
- ninjasavant0
I like courier new only because it lets me know that I have a problem with the fonts in my files.
add trebuchet, verdana, comic sans, curlz mt, jokerman, marker felt, gadget, and garamond.
Long live Friz Quadrata!

(Aug 24 06, 12:21)Helvetica is overused, but it is a very functional typeface nonetheless. Especially Helv. Neue with all it's variants. That's not to say that I'm not tired of projects that require Helvetica & Bodoni :|
Arial & Tahoma are just plain shitty. Poorly drawn. Arial is the unwanted bastard child of Helvetica, Univers, & Frutiger. Stupidest looking 'R' I've ever seen.
Georgia is a very good screen font. Not for print, as many people apparently don't know.

lets stick to sans here...
but... i still love Garamond, for the history and that it keeps being redesigned. Adobe even has another new set out, or coming soon.....
