I missed part i but saw 3&4 last night. It was very moving. I thought he did a great job of letting the voices speak out without trying to insert his own view.

so many people let down on such a grand scale
the aftermath is so disheartning

as a historical/archival piece, I thought it was a solid piece of work, but everytime I tried to watch it but found it too slow and depressing.
i thought many of the interviewees had tremendous wisdom. my fav part was they interviewed the guy who told Cheney to fuck off.

The two things that stunned and angered me most were
1. insurance companies using semantics to get around paying out on policies. It's hard to believe that people so well off (insurance companies) could take such grand advantage of people who are so poor...call me naive.
2. the corp of engineers are fixing the levees to be as good as they were pre-Katrina. WTF? Also, even though the corp admitted they f*cked up, they are immune from being sued. Unbelievable.
