So...Manhattan and Brooklyn reign the design field in NY...looking to meet peeps from Queens..Why do I have to commute to the city to work in agencies, find clients etc?

Queens is a pit...

yup...and also "the king of queens" ugh!
oh well at least I tried...
- F_180
because manhattan and brooklyn are nicer.
- TheBlueOne0
I despise Queens...how many redundant street names can one county have? "Keep going down 21st Ave until you hit 21st St but make a left onto 21st Blvd, but if you hit 21st Rd then you went the wrong way. Either way you'll eventually end up on Queens Blvd anyway..."

i love queens.
brooklyn is too racist.
manhattan is overpriced.
bronx is too far.
staten island...smells bad.
- F_180
staten island should be its own country, and we should build a wall around it to stop them from invading new jersey.

Nothing worse than a NJ driver anywhere on the streets of Manhattan...I hate those f***ers...

queens is our step child. kidding. checkout commarts.com 's Creative Hotlist and see those agencies in your area bro.

I don't live in Brookyn, but how do you figure it's the most racist? It has so many multicutural neighborhoods. Moreso than Manhattan, anyway.
Racists are everywhere, unfortunately.
- TheBlueOne0
Queens is pretty rascist..my ex girlfriend grew up in Woodside..she was Chinese and her brother always got beat up by the Irish, who in turn got beat up by the Italians next blockl over..she would rant about how rascist Queens was...

ok..ill expalin myself.
brooklyn is one of the oldest terrortorial areas in all of nyc. the cultures in brooklyn are all there but only with-in their own areas.
each area in brooklyn is also known for very specific nationalities whom usually stick toghether i.e. the russians, the italians, the jews, the africans americans, the latins all of which either stay in their respective hoods or stay on their side of the street.
remember the race riots that started in brooklyn!?!? those riots never started or happened in any of the other boroughs.
also btw astoria is the most culturly diverse area in all of the 5 boroughs including all of manhattan.
there is more of every race on my block alone than i have ever seen in manhattan...meaning the p[eople that live there not the tourists.
brooklyn since with so many ego and attitudes causes a vibe of racism...it makes you become a racist living there without even knowing it.
im not saying that living in brooklyn will make you a kkk racist but it does give the feeling that well stay in your hood and dont cross that imaginary line!!!
TURF!!!! THE WARRIORS!!!
gangs...race...turf...all go hand in hand with brooklyn's history.
these are my thoughts.
i love nyc!!! all of it!!!
cept the tourists!!! they can go home!!:)
