Hi guys, here's a logo i’ve been working on for a new online magazine that will focus on streetwear, shoes, art, and music. Any feedback or suggstions would be much appreciated. Thanks!
here is a look at the latest versions i have.
Since the magazine is focusing on cool stuff inside & out i thought a logo that looks the same inside & out would fit well, so as you can see it’s a mirror image ambigram.

um where is your link?

second from top. nice work. i like the symmetry.

I don't really like the letter forms too much.
Have you tried making them all the same height?

you have an "o a" issue that needs some attention. honestly, i think it looks more like a fun typographical exercise rather than a logotype. but what the hell do i know?
maybe what jevad said will help.

i see the top part of a head... two eyes and a nose
might just be me hehe

Not sure about those letterforms tho. I'd make the tail of your 'a' as small as you can and see how that looks on your mirrored 'O'.
If it still doesn't work, I'd look for another concept, you might be trying to fit a square peg into a roudn hole.

too much symmetry imo.

tooooo much symmetry yes. reminds me of the front of a jeep.

farnraf
tarnratsymmetry implicates that it's really mirrored like farnraf.
and yes, i've aibohphobia.

Didn't you just ask for advice or something at some other site? was it yayhooray?
Anyway, I agree with the first dude that replied in that other thread.
However, I see some potential with what you have there, but the symmetry there can be a bit confusing coz it can read farnraf, famraf, tarnrat, etc...........Play a bit more with it. and try to do something with the "o" and the "m"

Nice to see something different to Avant Garde and Lubalin.
Good work.

So what is Forn Rat?

this would be much stronger if you got yourself away from this symmetry idea, the repitition of letterforms is enough, just use a normal o (not the one with the gap) and a normal t with the version with the rounded ends, perhaps make it a bit fatter and you're done I guess. Also, the f with the curly bottom sucks unless you try it with the curl going under the baseline.

It's possibly the fugliest logo I've ever seen. Add more animated gifs and bevels.
Where's my beer??!!
