Here's what I think would be the best thing ever: All the internet peeps who can instantly broadcast the first thing they think when they get up in the morning have tricked the marketing suits who have Google it and see a lot of activity.

Then the marketing suits start writing articles about the new new marketing through the intertron like they are all up ons of pulse of the net. Only, the whole time, the web kids never intended to go see the movie but only to make bitter, bitter fun of the studio for making Snakes on a Plane by turning it into a "web phenomenon" by all their blogging and forum chatting about it like they wanted to make out with it. Only when opening day comes, they and their dollars stay the heck home. That's what would be awesome.

I guess I'm the only one who thinks that would be the best thing ever.

I think it would be funny.

Funny because the movie company now has probably about 40-80% more marketing behind the movie because they think everyone who is making fun of it is going to see it.

That movie is going to be awful.

Awfully awesome to wait for it to rent.

It was funny for about the length of time it takes ole Sammy Jackson to say "snakes on the motherf***ing plane". After that, you know, it's worn off. When I see frat boys running out of bars last weekend yelling "snakes on the plane, motherfucker" I was like, Dude, this was funny, what? Eight months ago and you're getting into it now?"

I could care less to see this piece of crap. Hope it bombs and goes down as the biggest marketing goof up of the deacde...
